This policy explains what information Repair Finder ("we", "us") collects when you use this website, how it is used, and the choices you have. In short: we do not require accounts, we do not sell personal information, and we currently do not run advertising or analytics tools on this site.
Information we collect
Information you send us. If you email us or use a contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. We use it to reply and to handle your request.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the servers that host this site record technical data such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time. This is used to keep the site secure and working.
Information stored in your browser. We save your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It stays on your device and is not used to track you.
We do not ask for accounts, payment details or your precise location.
Third-party services
Maps. When a map appears on a shop page, your browser requests map data from OpenFreeMap (tiles.openfreemap.org). If the interactive map cannot start on your device, we show an OpenStreetMap embed instead. These services can see your IP address and basic browser details as part of delivering the map, and their own policies apply.
Links to other sites. Buttons such as Directions open Google Maps, and some pages link to shop websites or to AAA or Toyota. Once you leave our site, those sites' policies apply.
Fonts on this site are served from our own server, not from an outside font provider.
Cookies
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. The third-party services above may set their own technical cookies or similar data when they load.
How we use information

We keep emails for as long as needed to deal with your request and to meet legal requirements. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited time.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, such as California or the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold, and to ask us to correct it, delete it or limit how we use it. Email us to make a request. You can remove your saved theme choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no website or method of transmission is completely secure.
